The sneaker and colorway was worn by Michael Jordan in a few NBA games, essentially testing the tooling for Nike before the company. This was after the Jordan 1 had already caused an uproar and before the Jordan 2 upper was officially designed. The colorway is almost exactly the same as the Jordan 1 ‘Chicago’ that released a month ago, featuring the classic hues of Varsity Red, Black and White.
