The Air Force 1 Utility is yet another Nike sneaker to go laceless, and it’s bringing loud colorways for fall.
When WearTesters first reported on the Air Force 1 Utility several weeks ago, the story was that Nike had done away with conventional laces and rebuilt the AF1 with aggressive new styling. The Utility build flaunted a larger tongue, glow-in-the-dark outsoles, and large ballistic nylon straps at the midfoot that use the unique magnetic closure debuted on the Komyuter for containment.
The Air Force 1 features a full-length Air unit underfoot so comfort is almost guaranteed in this build. Lastly, there is a premium leather upper that should be durable though it is currently unknown if the leather has been made waterproof on this build.
The Nike Air Force 1 Utility ‘Volt/White/Black’ is set to drop on November 1 alongside a Black/White/Gum colorway for $145 each. Both should be available on Nike SNKRS or nike.com and at select Nike retailers like Foot Locker and Eastbay.
