The adidas Ultra Boost Gets a New Knit Pattern

The adidas Ultra Boost gets a new look with a brand new knit pattern for the next lineup of runners.

Some might claim that adidas is running the Ultra Boost into the ground, but those of us with brains know that having a staple shoe that is this comfortable is a must have year round. There are always a handful of sneaker models from each brand that should always be in production — and the Ultra Boost is one of them. Lucky for consumers, the upper is a knit so while we’re getting the same shoe over and over, we are able to get different variations with the upper being so versatile.

The new knit is by far my favorite. I love how clean and simple the toe is. While I wear my 2.0 version regularly, I’m not a fan of the toe design, so I’m glad mine are all white as I can’t see it that much. But these… yeah, these are a must have if you enjoy a comfortable shoe you can use all day, every day.

There is no official release date as of now, but rest assured that whenever those platinum grey and navy pairs hit retail I’m scooping up a pair of each.

Let us know what you think about the new knit, if you feel adidas is “killing” the Ultra Boost (I cringe when someone says something like that) by releasing pairs consistently, and which of the 4 first colorways you’re feeling most.

  1. These look nice. Didn’t dig the 2nd gen either. But somehow these give of a yeezyish vibe cause of the vertical lines running through it, not my favorite choice. But it’s clean so can’t argue with that.

  2. Thanks for the article Nightwing..always ahead of the game! Does anyone know when these will release? Also..those Navy ones, all you need now is the hydro-jet jet-ski and you’re set Nightwing!?

  3. Where exactly do the Ultra Boosts stack up against all of the other top runners?

I’ve been thinking about buying a pair for ages, but the price puts me off a bit and I also question the durability of them (mainly the outsole). Those of you that own them, are they worth it in your opinion? How durable is the outsole and also the upper?
