adidas has dropped its latest dad shoe/chunky ’90s-inspired runner, the Temper Run, and the shoe is on sale for a very limited time.
After the adidas Yung 1 and Falcon W made waves online for being the perfect on-trend chunky shoes for this ’90s reboot the fashion industry is in, the three stripes brand is following up with a new silhouette: the Temper Run.
Constructed from the usual layered mix of suedes and mesh, the Temper Run sports sculpted lightweight EVA midsoles (adiPrene+, hooray!) and rubber outsoles. Inspired by adidas’ running silhouettes of the ’90s — when all the runners were bold and chunky — the shoe has landed in two colorways: Core Black/Glow and Shock Purple/Glow.

140 retail!?! Look, all you trendy little hipsters out there: quit screwing around and just get the monarchs. Its the og, and its fifty bucks. Its so dad that your dad thinks its lame. Don’t get the blackouts, which look a little bit hip-looking. Get the white/blues. Thats realness right there. All these other dad shoes are the sketchers knockoffs of that shoe.
