adidas Shares Rapper Rosters for East vs West Basketball Game at 747 Warehouse St.

adidas 747 warehouse st east vs west

For All-Star Weekend adidas plans on hosting a huge multi-faceted experience at its 747 Warehouse St. event. For us, the highlight is the basketball game that will pit Snoop Dogg’s West Coast team of rappers against 2 Chainz’ East Coast team.

The West Coast roster, lead by Snoop Dogg, includes rappers:

  • David Banner
  • Chris Brown
  • K Camp
  • Daylyt
  • Lil Dicky
  • Snap Dogg
  • Mistah F.A.B.
  • O.T. Genasis
  • Hitman Holla
  • Kamaiyah
  • Tdot Illdude
  • Joe Moses
  • Problem
  • RJ
  • Rob $tone
  • Chevy Woods

The East Coast lineup, lead by 2 Chainz, includes:

  • Lil Bibby
  • Playboi Carti
  • Short Dawg
  • Dave East
  • Fabolous
  • Waka Flocka Flame
  • Freddie Gibbs
  • Trinidad James
  • Young M.A
  • French Montana
  • Quavo
  • Wale

Interestingly, many of the rappers on both teams can actually hoop, so it will be fascinating to see what goes down at 747 Warehouse St.

747 Warehouse St. boasts two days filled with live music, a basketball game, and exclusive apparel/shoe drops. In addition, reservations are assigned onsite for an exclusive tour of the Warehouse. The tour includes three distinct features:

  • the Test Center
  • the Product Line
  • the Engine Room

Sneaker releases will be available online and on site during the event. Guests will receive an RFID chipped wristband upon entry and this wristband, once activated online, can be used at various beacons around the event that will give the wearer access to footwear displayed on the beacon.

From there, you’re entered into a raffle to purchase the shoe. An SMS subscription will keep you up to date on release time information and tell you the results of the raffle. adidas has announced two mystery releases, and we’re guessing that one is the Yeezy Desert Rat 500 or “Yeezy 500” while the other is the adidas Crazy BYW we’ve seen Pharrell tease.

Apparel will also be available during the event, at all times while supplies last. More information on the performing artists is available here.

Warehouse gates open at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 16 and at noon Saturday, February 17 (we assume that’s PST).

Are you going to 747 Warehouse St.? Are you for the West Coast or East Coast team? Let us know in the comments below.
