Coming off of an excellent W against the Kings, in which Andrew Wiggins scored 32 points and had season highs of 10 rebounds and six assists, adidas decided to drop a PE with his initials on it.
The adidas Primeknit 2.5 Boost Andrew Wiggins PE features a predominantly red upper that transitions to grey from toe to heel. Bold adidas branding on the heel and gold accents add some pop but the most notable detail is the maple leaf within his gold initials on the tongue.

Maybe they should’ve used some piping, or stitched the edges, because especially near the medial-laces, the knit looks a bit raw.

I love the Wiggins, but this design and C/W looks atrocious.
The way the shoe is made where one side of the tongue wraps around the foot is similar to the new Anta Rondo model
It’s a burrito wrap-tongue, originally designed for running to reduce pressure on-top of the foot.
These shoes are AWESOME. I like the look but most important I Love the feel when I am on the court. Adidas is getting it right with the crazy light boost. For those of you who are hating on this shoe I recommend wearing them before you judge. Besides the look is unique and that is a cool bonus !!!
