It’s that time of year when brands cook up weather-ready shoes for the coming bad weather and adidas’ latest is the Atric F/2 TR PK.
The adidas Atric F/2 TR PK takes cues from the F/22 Primeknit, its predecessor, by combining everyday accessibility with functional performance elements to create something fitting for the coming inclement conditions.
Designed to be a winter trail runner, the Atric F/2 TR PK features an engineered Primeknit upper with an integrated waterproof membrane that should protect against water and wind. That membrane is complimented by a thermal lining to keep the wearer’s feet warm and dry.
The minimal lacing system, welded 3-stripe marks, and structural overlays place this shoe squarely in the adidas Originals camp. The two-tone midsole (presumably EVA) uses aggressive traction for durability but maintains the shoe’s fashion-forward aesthetic.
The adidas Atric F/2 TR PK will debut globally in this ‘Legendary Ink’ colorway on October 1. No pricing information has been announced but this shoe’s predecessor retailed for $140 (the adidas F/22 Primeknit ‘Triple Black’ is on sale now at adidas.com for
