This morning 43einhalb, a German sneaker shop, tested the first adidas Originals shoe care program.
Boost-equipped runners and all white Stan Smiths are hard to keep clean. After Jason Markk, Crep Protect, and Solscience, adidas Originals has thrown its hat into the shoe care ring.
adidas Originals has dropped five products that treat different sneaker materials. The Suede Liquid works on freshening suede color while the Leather Elixir helps maintain smooth leather. Of course, the shoe care program also includes a repellent spray to protect sneakers against water and dirt.
Additionally, the program includes Cleaning Drops, a cleaning fluid in a 140ml pump bottle that can be applied with an adidas Originals cleaning sponge or brush for difficult stains. To finalize each cleaning, the Shoe-Foot Essence spray replaces any odor with fresh fragrance.
The adidas Originals Shoe Care products come simply packaged and, according to 43einhalb, the products are ecologically degradable. They’re available now overseas at 43einhalb and END should arrive Stateside in the coming weeks.
