Back straight from the ’70s, adidas’ Originals has revived its adicolor apparel franchise — and it’s available now.
Back in 2018, the adicolor apparel line has returned in vibrant, playful colors and been remastered for the present. This adicolor drop is comprised of classic styles and adidas Originals basics like t-shirts, shorts, long sleeves, ponchos, jackets, leggings, track jackets, track pants, hoodies, dresses, and more.
adidas has named four primary colors for both the Men’s and Women’s SS18 collections: Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red, and Sun Yellow, which were first seen in 1983 (and briefly re-appeared in 2006). All of the apparel features the classic three stripes and trefoil logo.
While the new apparel may be inspired by the originals pieces of the ’70s, the garments now use innovative fabrics and refined fits to match contemporary styles. The pieces now focus on interesting and colorful product that moves beyond fixed gender binaries.
The adidas Originals adicolor SS18 collection is available now at Eastbay.com. Pieces range from $20 to $100.
