The adidas Originals EQT Basketball ADV Arrives for February

adidas originals EQT basketball ADV 1

The adidas Originals EQT Basketball ADV is not for basketball but it’s inspired by basketball models in adidas’ vault.

The EQT Basketball ADV takes design cues from the ’90s hoop models of the Equipment 93 series. This new model, like many of adidas’ latest silhouettes, combines a contemporary upper with a chunky midsole for some throwback style.

Tech specs include a knit upper with synthetic suede side panels, an Equipment ADV logo on a pigskin nubuck tongue label, mesh lining and rope laces, and TPU supports at the forefoot. adidas notes that this silhouette will have a wide fit.

The adidas Originals EQT Basketball ADV releases at Eastbay in several colorways for $120. Strangely, the teal/multicolor colorway will retail for $140, according to adidas.com.

Let us know what you think about the upcoming model in the comments below. Will adidas Originals hit line extension problems with all these new models?

  1. I just wish they used boost or bounce. I know its not a performance model but I have some of the other casual EQT’s with just EVA and they feel like bricks.
