adidas Lillard 1 ‘Weber State’

Along with the Black/ Red introductory colorway, adidas plans on releasing the ‘Weber State’ edition of the upcoming Lillard 1 as an homage to Lillard’s college.

This colorway looks pretty mean, reminds me of the Sacramento Kings too. I’m liking the suede upper, and the Black/ Grey accents are perfect with the brighter Purple. These look more lifestyle oriented, but they are for the court so it’s nice that different color options will be available once they release.

These are said to release alongside the Black/ Red on February 6th for $105. adidas Lillard 1 'Weber State' 1 adidas Lillard 1 'Weber State' 2 adidas Lillard 1 'Weber State' 3 adidas Lillard 1 'Weber State' 4

  1. For 105???? Adidas and UA are giving high quality for a low price , it’s not boost but it shouldn’t be to bad or bad at all really

    1. Keep in mind that Nike signature athletes all had their first sneakers at low prices too, and started to climb year after year, so we can all expect the same for these new signature athletes (kyrie, dame, curry).

      1. actually roses line went up to 160 then down to 140 and stayed there for two consecutive years, so no we should not expect it from a brand that is not nike

        1. Adidas has always kept the prices reality key low unlike Nike , also The quality in these and the currys kills those garbage kyries

          1. Adidas hasn’t had any decent cushioning tech for years though. They only just came out with Boost in their Basketball shoes, and for some reason are now also starting to use Adiprene. Anyone know if they used to use Adiprene much in their older model Basketball shoes? or has it mostly been EVA?

Nike mainly jacks the prices on their top models because they usually have pretty good cushioning and other tech that they’ve spent time and money on developing. Adidas has just been using EVA foam for years. It’s a bit hard to jack the price up when you’re just using the same basic cushioning tech for years on end.

Sure, Adidas has some good tech in other areas, such as their uppers and midsole/outsole designs (Puremotion 1 and 2), but as far as I know, most Basketball players want good cushioning and that is the one area Adidas didn’t really make any improvements on for years.

Hopefully the Adiprene in these provides some decent cushioning as I’m interested in getting a pair of the Lillards.

          2. Adirpene is a very good cushion and every rose model has had very good cushion, UA is dropping new tech for only 120 in a sig

          3. Nike might use better cushioning in higher level models. But the mid-entry levels like crusaders, run the ones and etc. I mean the stuck a brick in the shoe saying zoom air. Cmon.
Also from a performance standpoint the lillards are far superior to the kyrie 1s. Better traction, much better cushion, much nicer materials. Only downside is the support is not quite as good. Otherwise your getting alot more for a cheaper/similar priced shoe

  2. This is a Sick colorway. It would be cool to see him do a release in Ogden at the school for the colorway and do some kind of meet up with the fans in northern utah.

  3. Wow, this CW looks so clean. I didn’t really like the shoe, but this is nice. If only the cushion is good…

  4. #KINGSALLDAY Chris! lol Such a shame we missed out on him smh… I give myself the good ol’ palm to face every time I see his highlights -_-

    1. Did Portland actually think he was going to be this good? If they saw this potential, props to them for making the pick.
