adidas Introduces Two New Colorways of the Harden Vol. 2

James Harden has been one of the NBA’s most polarizing players this season, and his shoes are the perfect complement to his persona. With an angular shape and bold colorways, the adidas Harden Vol. 2 is as eye-catching as the Beard’s game.

Today, adidas unveils two new colorways of the Harden Vol 2, dubbed ‘Step Back’ and ‘Lift Off’.

The Harden Vol 2 ‘Step Back’, which releases on April 1, is inspired by the Houston Rockets jerseys of the late ’90s, made famous by Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, and Hakeem Olajuwon. A navy blue upper is intersected by cyan ForgeFiber threads, while red highlights are placed strategically around the shoe.

The ‘Lift Off’, which drops on April 15, embraces Harden’s goal of winning a title in Houston. The all black upper is accented with gray and silver hits throughout.

Both colorways are priced at $140 each and will be available at on release day.

  1. Hey! Those colorways are nice, specially the black cement-alike, lol. To be honest, I really like that cw but can’t deny the big resemblance.

  2. That Lift Off pair is FUEGO! I would mind a pair but I heard the traction is spotty. It just screams of the Black Cement 3s and Kobe 11s (in the similar color way).

  3. My footlocker had the Black and Grey colorway along with the Red/Cyan available on Saturday due to them being closed on Easter
