adidas FYW Prime Skin

adidas will be bringing back the popular Feet You Wear system in 2014 and this time around it’ll be featured on a brand new model instead of a Retro.

Feet You Wear makes up the entire midsole and outsole while the upper features a shrouded zip-up enclosure that wraps around a low top silhouette. The ankle collar looks to be an independent piece much like Nike’s Adaptive Fit System on the upcoming Hyperfuse 2013.

Check out more below and let me know what you think about adidas making new models with the older FYW tech in place.

  1. Who care about the weight with modern basketball shoes anyway :)? Plus these are from Adidas classic

  2. Nightwing, are you sure these are performance shoes? They have the adidas Originals logo on the upper. Most new adidas basketball shoes have the adidas Performance logo

  3. I’d cop em fersure. I LOVED, and I mean LOVED the TopTen2000’s. And these seem to have a better lockdown fitted upper then the TopTen2000’s.

  4. I wish they bring back FYW in their performance models. I wouldn’t think twice about buying those!

  5. I have always been a huge fan of FYW since it first came on the market. sadly the upper on these is weak. how many times are companies going to take the zip-up shroud cop out? its gotten ridiculous. its the same thing every time. its a pointless design feature

  6. the black pair looks awesome, i wonder how much give the upper has, if it’s just enough, it should be an awesome lockdown
