After its unveiling in 2017, hype built like crazy around the adidas Futurecraft 4D Runner. It’s set to release in a variety of colorways in 2018 and the first, ‘Ash Green’, will release later this month via the adidas Confirmed app.
The model features an all-black knit upper similar to that of the adidas Ultra Boost. However, instead of a Boost midsole, the Futurecraft 4D Runner uses Carbon’s 3D printed. It’s a big step for adidas, as it’s the first time they’ll utilize the technology. Several other companies, including Under Armour, have used the tech and have been met with positive reception.
According to leaker theyeezymafia, the Futurecraft 4D Runner ‘Ash Green’ will finally drop in a wider public release on January 18 exclusively on the adidas Confirmed app. According to another leaker, @pyrates, the retail price is expected to be $300.
If you thought $300 was a lot, the Invincible x adidas FutureCraft 4D Runner collab is expected to retail for $400.
