The adidas Dame 3, Damian Lillard’s third signature sneaker with adidas, is now available for purchase. Yesterday, the shoe was officially unveiled, and if you missed our post with details on the latest signature from the three stripes brand, check that out here.
The Dame 3 ‘Roots’ features some of adidas’ latest and greatest technology. The upper is a mesh upper that uses TPU yarn, and then is heated in high wear areas creating a fuse-like seam without overlays. Thus, the upper ensures durability while not restricting comfort or breathability. The sharp angles and edged panels are actually there for a purpose as well; they help to create a customized fit to maximize lockdown, together with the Techfit bootie. The cushioning on the adidas Dame 3 is still BOUNCE, but it’s a dual-density set up that is meant to compliment Lillard’s playing style. The traction pattern is inspired by Lillard’s milk crate origins and an internal torsional plate is wrapped within TPU at the center of the foot for stability.

I actually don’t know why people called these ugly, even the leaks were nice to me…but a lot of shoes look lack luster in comparison to that of the absolutely sexy lillard 2’s.
i couldn’t see it yet, but can or will they still put the CLB tooling on this, as they did with the 2’s? hope not.
Scared about the traction, storytelling is potentially quite questionable if the rubber compound and pattern aren’t to par.
Very similar in terms of looks to Brandblack’s blade traction. Hopefully it performs similarly

in respect to its ad campaign, the photo shoot with Dame dribbling on street court, reflects this shoe’s performance outdoor imo
