The adidas D Lillard 2 Isn’t Done Yet

While adidas has officially unveiled the next big three sneakers in the hoops department, the popular D Lillard 2 isn’t quite done just yet.

This is another Primeknit version of the D Lillard 2, and these things look fantastic. We saw them at the LVL3 event — you can see them here. Not only was I loving this colorway, but Dame was pretty fond of it as well. It seemed like the event was the first time he’d seen the colorway. His reaction was like, “Damn, I’m gonna need at least 20 pairs of these.” Not all for him, of course. He has friends and family that he likes to take care of.

Rumor has it that these are scheduled to launch on July 30. If you like what you see then you may want to mark that date on your calendar to make sure you’re able to grab a pair.

Let us know what you think about this adidas D Lillard 2 in Primeknit and stay tuned for updates as they come.

  1. I like what I see…
BUT why noone has ever mentioned that the lillards have close to ZERO forefoot cushion and therefore, very little impact protection.
I.played in the hyperrev 2015 and 2016,kd 7 also and my knees were perfectly fine.
Lillards killed my knees from the first match.

    1. If ur talking about the D Lillard 1 I could understand that sentiment even though I haven’t ever experienced such. But if ur talking about the D Lillard 2 then ur by urself with that opinion. Considering the bounce cushion is full length so I have no clue how u would have that opinion unless ur just partial to NIKE cushion setups.

      1. the sizing isn’t accurate which is a bummer for those who want to ship from. but for those who can actually try the shoe in-store for size and still complain about it like it’s the end of the world, it’s dumb.

        1. How is the sizing off? Do they run big or small? Does it vary for colorways? If I wanted a pair, I’d only be able to order them online, so that is why I am asking. I was thinking of picking up a pair at some point.

          1. not really colorway but more on the materials especially the upper. with my wide feet, the jacquards’ run quite tight-fitting to my taste while the primeknit seems more forgiving or stretchy. it’s not because they run longer but rather the tightness of the shoe which had been my issue with Adidas if I were only able to get them online. but if you can try one in-store, it’s not really an issue at all. the only issue I have with Adidas shoes is their durability especially with the clothing material on their heel which breaks down easily with constant rubbing. I think that is one area that Adidas needs to work on. also, I hope they would no longer make the figure 8 tpu cage fit design which hurt like hell for wide footers like myself.

          2. I have 7 colorways of this shoe spanning 5 material types and the sizing and fit is the same on each because of the inner booty construction. Had there been no inner booty I could definitely see the material changes effecting the fit
