adidas D Lillard 1 ‘All-Star’ – Detailed Look & Review

Being from Portland, I knew that whenever Dame got his first signature sneaker, I would pick them up. I got the adidas D Lillard 1, and here’s the review.

The black and white colorway is about as simple as a colorway can get, and this shoe looks great in black and white with a few gold touches on the branding. Traction is translucent on this colorway, but I did not slip in the first hour I played in them. Cushion is adiprene+, which is basic and keeps the cost low, but my legs and feet did hurt a bit. It also doesn’t help that the insoles are paper thin. Overall, the shoe looks pretty good, from most angles. It has a different shape; part Zoom Crusader, part WoW, but it doesn’t matter what the shoe looks like if you get buckets.

I can’t wait until the all red colorway drops. That one looks sweet.

Watch the pickup review and stay tuned for the full reviews from the WearTesters team.

  1. I’m looking for a good outdoor basketball shoe I’m thinking the curry 1s kyrie 1s or lillard 1s can someone help me

    1. Good outdoor basketball shoe? Try the Jordan fly Wade 2s, Jordan superfly 2s, kb mentalitys or something else that has deep grooves, good, cushion and decent ventilation. Mentalitys would probably be the best option as something you can make a shoe you’ll trash outside a good buy as it’s probably the best in traction, cushion, and maybe ventilation. ( wades or superfly would be most durable on upper but kobes would be on the outsole)

    2. Feedback is a gift, try the Zoom Max Hyperflight. those have a heavy tread pattern and will last a good while. They have a Full Length Zoom unit just like the Lebron 10, KD 6 elite and now the Hyperposite 2. if a smaller design / lower cut try the new low cost kobe, has a fuller tread on it. funny thing with out door hoopin, your shoe’s get jacked up – the upper will look good but the sole is bald and get wore out an angle because cross over’s and then you cant even walk in them correctly. remember for out door play, what is key is cushion, Legs vs asphalt, asphalt wins.

  2. You need do something about the microphone or the device you are using to record the video. Cant hear shit.

  3. These lillards are a terrible shoe… In all honesty all Adidas shoes are terribly made, a sneaker has to have a street appeal as well as a good fit to play ball in… Adidas missed the mark again…
