The adidas Crazy Explosive Low 2017 Primeknit Has Launched Overseas

adidas has launched the low top edition of the Crazy Explosive 2017 Low in three Primeknit options overseas.

We’re not sure why, but overseas hoopers seem to get the goods long before we do here in the States. The adidas Crazy Explosive Low 2017 Primeknit is just the latest example of that.

Featuring a super low cut compression collar and a Primeknit build, the Crazy Explosive Low 2017 isn’t much different from its higher cut counterpart. It offers the same traction, Boost cushion, and overall build/fit, so if you enjoyed the Crazy Explosive 2017 Primeknit but felt the ankle collar was useless then you may enjoy the Low a bit more.

Three color options are currently available: triple black, triple white, and a clean heather grey.

Feel free to share your thoughts on the adidas Crazy Explosive Low 2017 Primeknit, whether or not you think there will be a non-Primeknit low top, and why you think overseas hoopers get first dibs at releases rather than everything launching all at once in the comments below.

  1. I’d be in for the black pair at the right price. I like the solid rubber outsole too.

My guess is they release in Europe first because Adidas has a bigger following there, especially for soccer, and maybe to gauge interest in the U.S. and build hype/expectations. It’s similar to how tech. releases in Asia first before releasing in the U.S. It also might be better or easier to measure and gauge data with staggered releases.

  2. If that black one has a solid outsole that would be an auto-cop for me, even though I don’t like the ankle of this shoe.

  3. Black Gold Scarlet version is still the best version of 2017 in term of aesthetic & performance, it has smoother Primeknit, much more comfy padding, fit like a glove, amazing Boost and traction upgrade with hard solid rubber. It’s been sold out so fast due to limited stock.
