adidas Continental 80 | Detailed Look and Review

adidas has reissued the Continental 80 and it’s back for the first time since the ’80s.

Sporting super soft leather along the upper, an EVA wedge midsole, and a durable rubber cupsole, the adidas Continental 80 is a classic retro done right — although few seem to care.

The Continental 80 was a surprise reissue and will likely be overlooked in lieu of something like the Calabasas (which is just a Reebok Workout). We’re happy to see classics like this come back because it fits perfectly with today’s lust over ’80s and ’90s footwear/apparel without breaking the bank. The Continental 80 retails for $80 and offers nicer materials and craftsmanship than something from adidas that would retail for $150 or more.

If you’re on the fence about buying a pair for yourself then maybe our review will help you finalize your decision one way or the other. If you’re into all things ’80s then you may have already grabbed the shoe.

Let us know how you feel about the adidas Continental 80 below and if you prefer this style of shoe over the modern knit.
