The adidas Consortium x KITH Aspen Pack Features All-New UltraBoost Mid

KITH Aspen Pack 11

This winter, adidas Consortium is teaming up with Ronnie Fieg’s KITH to release two new silhouettes that blur the lines between street style and outdoor performance functionality. Consortium and the NewYork made retailer are hosting a three-month pop-up store in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, where the adidas Consortium x KITH Aspen Pack will be showcased.

The first model in the KITH Aspen pack is completely new: it is the first ever UltraBoost Mid. This new entry into the UltraBoost line extends the original lowcut silhouette with a snug, sock-like enclosure at the mid-ankle. It is very similar to what has been implemented previously on the uncaged version of this sneaker, as the KITH Aspen edition of this shoe will also ditch the cage in favor of subtle fuse panels. The new UltraBoost Mid will be constructed from a thicker space dyed yarn that is more suitable for the winter months than conventional Primeknit. The first colorway of the UltraBoost Mid will release in a festive multicolor pattern right in time for the holidays.

The second model included in the KITH Aspen pack is the Response Trail Boost, a more conventional outdoor shoe. With a reputation of being tough and functional, this iteration of the trail shoe will take on a lifestyle look, while still providing the performance aspects that it’s known for. This shoe features a neoprene collar, speed lacing system, exposed heel Boost, and an aggressive rubber outsole. The first colorway of this model uses a tonal blend of blue hues.

Both of these models have a pre-release date of December 23 and will be available at KITH Aspen, all KITH shops and via kithnyc.com; the general release of these models is set for December 31 at global adidas Consortium retailers. The UltraBoost Mid will be available for $210 USD, while the Response Trail BOOST will be available for $160 USD.
