Fans of the futuristic adidas AlphaEdge 4D rejoice: the three stripes brand has announced an official restock of the highly sought after shoe, and added another way to obtain the sneaker if you’re in London.
Featuring the patented 4D midsole from the Futurecraft model, the adidas AlphaEdge is a sneaker that draws heavy inspiration from the adidas AlphaBounce. The shoe’s futuristic look and comfort have caused many to salivate over the shoe, and adidas has furthered it by releasing the shoe in very limited numbers.
Luckily, adidas has announced a second drop to give fans around the world to have another go at the silhouette; additionally, from 12 PM Friday on May 25 to Saturday the 26, fans in London can participate in a hunt that will require seeking out one of two vending machines, located on Chance Street in Shoreditch and Peter Street in SoHo.
These vending machines will contain codes that can be used at the adidas Originals flagship store on Hanbury Street to access a locked chamber containing 100 resin ‘cubes’ inspired by the unique mesh design of the shoe’s midsole. If the code successfully unlocks a cube you’ll be invited to the trainer’s official launch on May 31 where there’ll be an opportunity to get one of four pairs.
Overseas retailers like END and Sneakersnstuff will be dropping the sneaker via raffle on May 31; expect the adidas app to release the shoe at some point as well. To read more about the shoe, visit here.
