After unveiling the $240 UltraBoost All Terrain, adidas has created the AlphaBounce Zip for winter runners on a budget.
The AlphaBounce has released in several new builds, including a luxurious suede option, so it was only natural it would get a new build for fall/winter. The AlphaBounce Zip is equipped with a water resistant upper in a 5/8 mid construction that should protect wearers from the elements.
The AlphaBounce Zip rides atop a Continental rubber outsole for improved grip. Its laces have been swapped for zipper that should keep the wearer dry and fashion-forward.
While the masses may love Boost, several true runners prefer Bounce. It isn’t a cloud-like as Boost, and it’s quite responsive. You can learn more with Duke4005’s adidas AlphaBounce performance review.
The AlphaBounce Zip drops on October 1 for $120 at adidas.com in four colorways — black, grey, blue, and trace olive. Check your local retailers because Nightwing2303 spotted these on shelves about a week ago.
