A Detailed Look and Review of the PUMA Uproar

Puma Hoops has its second basketball shoe releasing during NBA All-Star Weekend: the Puma Uproar.

Quite different than the Puma Clyde Court, the Uproar looks more like a basketball shoe than the latter had. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but the Clyde Court looked versatile (to me) while these look like they belong on the hardwood.

Sporting a split down the middle, this version of the Puma Uproar was made to celebrate Charlotte’s basketball history, paying homage to the Bobcats and the Hornets all at once. Luckily, the two-toned split look on shoes is trendy again so if you liked this type of thing back in the 90s and early 00s then you should like these.

The shoe features a mixture of Ignite foam and its new Hybrid (NRGY and Ignite combo) for cushion while the build is synthetic and textiles. Traction looks like it could be beastly — no pun intended.

If you wanted a detailed look prior to the performance review then WearTesters has you covered — thanks to the good folks at Puma Hoops for sending these over.

The Puma Uproar releases on February 16, 2019 for $130 at Puma.com and other Puma Hoops retailers.
