The 2017 Nike All Asia Basketball Training Camp Comes to a Close

This year, 90 players from Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand gathered at Dongguan China’s basketball school to train with NBA Superstars Devin Booker, of the Phoenix Suns, and Buddy Hield, from the Sacramento Kings.

The camp, held from June 11 to June 17, offered insights and experience for players from all over the world. Players were systematically trained according to their positions while coaches like director Otis Hughley Jr helped demonstrate lessons and technical moves to the learning youth.

Former Chinese men’s basketball coach Wang Fei also educated the hoopers on how to improve training methods and how to correct their exposed weaknesses. In addition, Devin Booker and Buddy Hield jumped in on a few training experiments to demonstrate the skills they’ve learned over the years.

The camp proved to be another successful one by Nike. Although most of the players are separated by geographical constraints, they learned from each other while absorbing new training methods and team awareness. The Swoosh once again provided the platform that united countries with a common love of basketball.

    1. Not likely. I, for one, do not want to give any money to Lavar Ball — a misogynistic, annoying, know-it-all borderline abusive father. Don’t believe me? This is all the proof you need 🙂

If someone sends Nightwing a pair it’s up to him.
