If you’re in the UK and you’re a fan of the Under Armour Fat Tire you’re in luck: Foot Locker EU has stocked a new variant, the Fat Tire Spec Ops, in two colorways, as well as new Mid colorways.
The Fat Tire Spec Ops opts for a much more traditional boot look and an upper that is comprised of mesh and synthetics. The shoe retains its Fat Tire tooling — Charged cushioning and the rugged Michelin rubber outsole that is meant for trails. This shoe is very cushy and soft with nice sink and bounce due to the huge amount of cushioning beneath the foot.
Additionally, two new Fat Tire Mid colorways, Black-Stealth-Rocket Red and Nova Teal-Gravel-Tahitian Teal, are also available for £120 each (approx. $155 USD).
Both Spec Ops colorways, Triple Black and ‘Texas Orange’, are available now at Foot Locker EU for £145 (approx. $185 USD).
There is no official word on whether the Fat Tire Spec Ops is coming Stateside and whether these Fat Tire colorways will be available at U.S. Foot Locker locations (the U.S. Release Calendar only shows Curry Lux and Curry 3 release dates, 10/15 and 10/27, respectively).

I’m a rare fan of the Fat Tires. If they release here, I will cop a pair. The cushioning on these reminds me of boost (not ultra boost). If only UA could put some of this in the CFD or Currys. It’s soft when your stand but becomes VERY bouncy when get on them.
I think the Fat Tire just needs to be a lil more aesthetically pleasing, like what UA has done here and the UAS RLS boot.
I really like the look of these. The cws fit the shoe with more earthy tones, none of that neon stuff. I’d pick up those black/gums right now if they were available, wear em’ to the office, and probably get yelled at.
