This year’s NBA All-Star weekend wasn’t a complete disaster. We still had an overtime shootout in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, Kristaps Porzingas took the title in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, and Steph Curry got laid out by the “Greek Freek.”
While those were some pretty cool moments, it got me thinking: what are my favorite NBA All-Star moments and what sneakers were worn during those moments?
After thinking about it during a long and delicate process (that took 10 minutes), I came up with this list of my Top 5 NBA All-Star Sneakers & Moments.

Those J11 columbias are money.
Not “a moment” but more of “moments”. Like the video of Kobe asking for tips from MJ (I think it was the first ASW game for Kobe). Something along the lines of “feel the defense with your legs”. Then fastforward to their last ASW and Kobe was now talkin trash back to MJ.
Pretty awesome to go from like an apprentice to a challenger of one of the GOAT.
