This is a truly classic shoe, period. Hailing from 1987, the Suisse was a shoe for everyday wear that could also be used as a trainer. While quite similar to the Munchen that released in 1976, the Suisse was only available in certain parts of central Europe. It gained momentum in the ’90s but many thought adidas killed it after it’s successful period, leaving it with no releases for over ten years.
It recently came back in 2014, airing out some OG and classic colorways from the Originals vault. The Suisse has now escaped the vault in truly classic simplicity with a white leather upper, black branding, and a gum outsole. Priced at only £67 (about $100 USD) and in sizes 6-13 (including half sizes), the Suisse is back as a size? UK exclusive on May 8, 2015 at 8 am GMT via size?’s Facebook and Twitter links.
