Test Shoot: Under Armour UA Team Charged Controller

Under Armour UA Team Charged Controller 5

When I first saw the UA Team Charged Controller next to the matching white/gold Curry 3ZER0 I knew it had to be mine. Now, a few business days later, it is.

We have covered the Charged Controller extensively on WearTesters; it has been performance reviewed by almost every member of the squad (click here for those).

The UA Team Charged Controller was extremely limited — and actually wasn’t supposed to release at all; the entire production run for this shoe is a staggeringly low number. As we expected, it sold out immediately.

This shoe utilizes a durable Threadborne woven upper that is soft and comfortable. There is no break in time, and it’s pleasant knit to wear casually.

The Charged Controller sits atop a full-length Micro G carrier foam with a Charged Cushioning crash pad. It’s comfortable enough for casual wear and will break in after a few games. It is low-riding and a bit firm, but becomes bouncier the more you wear it.

Enjoy the images below and let us know if you were able to pick up the UA Team Charged Controller.

  1. I wish I had an opportunity to purchase them. UA always limits there good color blocking shoes… Have you seen the other colors for this shoe?!?
