Take a Closer Look at the Under Amour Curry 2 ‘The Professional’

“You can’t stop what you can’t see”.

The Under Amour Curry 2 remains one of the most anticipated on court sneakers for the upcoming 2015-16 NBA season, and with colorways like ‘The Professional’, it only makes the wait that much more excruciating. This close look of the new colorway gives us some insight into the inspiration behind it, as well as some hidden details previously not seen before. The ‘Professional’ patch on the inner tongue revels a sharpshooter logo that suits Curry perfectly as he is a dead eye sniper from behind the arc, an ode to the genre-defining film Léon: The Professional. Personally, this is one of my most anticipated colorways of the Curry 2 as the black, grey, and red work well together to bring an overall sharp package.

  1. the whole design and particulary that elevation at the heel makes me think of the crazyness in the industry: they don’t really care about heatlhy feet, just make the damn things look cool…even if you’re one of the most intelligent players basketball has ever seen well, money’s good, money’s everything, he could be fine and perfect with better shoes than these ones, a pair of anatomix or adidas feet you wear, why create something as monstrous as these things? and endorse them having a history with problems with biomechanics? (ankle)

  2. I like the Suit and Tie colorway the best. White toe with black rear and red accents just scream Playoff 12 to me, and they’re my top 3 jordans all time

  3. I like this color way the most so far from what we’ve seen but the shoe overall does take a small step back in terms of looks for me. It’s not bad but I think that the Curry 1 just looked better overall.

    1. There was a blue pair posted earlier that was seen on someone’s feet but I don’t think that there has been any word confirming lows as a general release.
