For All-Star Weekend Reebok finished up its three-part series with New Orleans boutique Sneaker Politics by launching the Shaq Attaq ‘Alma Mater’.
Shaq Diesel, an LSU alum, returned to the state of his alma mater to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his first signature shoe with Reebok. For All-Star Weekend, Sneaker Politics played host for the launch of its latest collab, the Shaq Attaq ‘Alma Mater’, a shoe decked out in purple and gold — just like the boutique for the event.
At the event, Shaq took photos and shook hands, hanging out with fans that came to celebrate. Some lucky guests received signed copies of the Shaq Attaq OG in the enormous size 22 Shaq wore.
Basketball legend and longtime Reebok athlete Dee Brown stopped by the store to meet and greet. Of course, he was wearing the Pump Omni Lite Retro that recently returned to retail.
The Reebok Classic x Sneaker Politics Shaq Attaq ‘Alma Mater’ is available now at Sneaker Politics for $160 in sizes 8.5 to 14 — sorry, no size 22s.
