The Internet is buzzing with new images of the Nike Air EnterTrainer, which many are linking to the Nike Air Yeezy line.
The name of the shoe itself provides hints of the Kanye connection and many see the heel wedges as being similar to the heel bumps on the Air Yeezy 2. Similarly the Yeezy line always used tooling (midsole and outsole) from past models. The Yeezy 2 took that from the Air Tech Challenge 2, while the EnterTrainer takes the sole from the Air Trainer SC 2, famously worn by Bo Jackson.
Interesting enough, the shoe looks to have some nice leather, which signals it being a lifestyle sneaker while also doubling as a training shoe.
While the Nike EnterTrainer doesn’t have a release date yet, seeing stock photos makes the shoe likely to release. On my assumptions, I would think that these will be a Nike Lab limited release, but we shall see. Let us know your thoughts on the silhouette in the comments below.
