While many left NOLA early, Reebok Classic was hosting concert after concert. On Saturday afternoon, Footaction and Reebok partnered for “Classics in the Courtyard,” a pop-up sneaker customization store and concert right in the heart of Bourbon Street.
Reebok brand ambassadors Cam’ron, Teyana Taylor, and Curren$y took turns performing their biggest hits for a packed house while rocking styles like the Club C, Freestyle, and InstaPump Fury. You know Cam had to do “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma,” while Teyana Taylor danced her ass off to some of her hits like “Maybe.”
Killa rocked the Club C while Teyana Taylor killed it in the Freestyle Hi (she is the face of the campaign that has brought back the silhouette). Both artists have a longstanding history with Reebok; every one of the collaborations they did with the Vector brand was a success. To match his seersucker fit, Curren$y rocked a recent collaboration with local New Orleans boutique Sneaker Politics, the Reebok Instapump Fury OG Seersucker Thursday.
The Reebok Classic x Footaction “Classics in the Courtyard” was accompanied by a Footaction pop-up store on Bourbon Street where fans could purchase a variety of Reebok models as well as customize the silhouettes with their own artwork.
