As we creep closer to NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans (yes, we will be there), Nike Basketball has taken us behind the scenes at the history of its athletes. Called “Out of Nowhere,” the campaign showcases short documentaries about how certain athletes came up through the ranks and the adjustments made to achieve their goals — the work ethic, the hardships, the trying times. You might also recognize the title as the colorway of the new LeBron 14 releasing this weekend.
First up is Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns guard and first player ever to make his NBA debut at age 18 after spending just one year in college. In short, he was young. Couple that with the position he plays, the loaded guard spots in the West, and success was doubtful. However, after just one season in the NBA, Booker is seen as a rising star in the league, as well as the Swoosh stable.
We already saw his Nike Zoom Rev 17 PE and if he keeps producing and surprising it wouldn’t be far-fetched to think we could be testing the Zoom Booker in a couple of years.
Check the video below and let us know your thoughts on Devin Booker.
