Nike Zoom Soldier VII TB – Detailed Look

We’ve seen a number of upcoming Team Bank colorways for the Nike Zoom Soldier VII but this is the first time we’ve seen them with this much detail.

They share some obvious design cues as the upcoming LeBron XI but these will be lighter and more affordable. Only thing that still worries me is the traction… lets just hope it works.

Take a look at more images after the jump and feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

  1. It would be sooo dope to see LeBron debut the XI in the finals, if they make it like Jordan when he debuted the XIV’s in the finals

  2. look like they could be very good performance-wise. the looks are hard to get past. damn ugly imo

  3. thanks NW. I felt the same when I saw the Lebron XI. they look similar in some aspects except that the XI have a more elaborate transformer look to it. it may or may not share the same cushion tech as well or to some degree it could. I love hearing about the minimalistic approach on the Soldier VII as I found those to be of much comfort as opposed to wearing a fully loaded shoe like the X. also love these better than the VI which I loved very much in terms of performance. better looking shoe as well especially the strap and sleeve. the tongue is still a concern since it looks the typical thin layer construct which I find cheapish.

as far as the traction, they seem to look slippery by it’s design but who knows, looks can be deceiving. after all, it all depends on what rubber compound is used.

  4. Damn these look clean. I never ball in white shoes for obvious reasons but these just look so clean. I prefer this design over the Soldier 6 which I loved for performance but I am a little nervous about that traction. Hopefully, it works out great though. Really looking forward to Nightwing’s review on these later in the year. I just picked up the X and I love the cushion but it really is quite snug in some areas on my right foot. I guess that foot is just shaped oddly.

    1. Yeah they’re very hard to break in. They felt tight and both of my feet at first and I had some hotspots on one of my ankles but it went away after a while, just up hang in there and they’ll feel better after every game.

      1. Thanks for the heads up. I was worried that it might not loosen up but then again I’ve only used them once so far. I’ll give it some more time. Appreciate it.

        1. Thank goodness! I’ve played on my lavas for like 10 times and it still hurts my plantars. I hope they start to really break in or else I might sell them and switch to jordan brand.

Wide/flat footed. upped 1/2 size. Real snug at the side and toe box. Dead big toe.

Disappointed so far. Love the cushioning tho!

          1. Alot of my shoes are actually Jordans now for performance. I don’t have particularly wide feet at all but I just prefer the step in comfort of the Jordan brand shoes which are generally not as narrow and have a nice inner feel (Don’t feel like just plastic).

    1. Nah he had a PE version of the Soldier 6. If you go to Getty Images, you can see it closer when you search for him.

  5. I’m still not digging that LBJ crown that’s on the strap…. especially when it’s 3d and runs across the entire shoe. It shouts I want to be like Lebron, when I just want to appreciate the shoes.

    1. that’s always been my problem with the soldier series…i really wanted to pick up the 6’s last time around, but couldn’t bring myself to wear a shoe with a huge crown logo on it…it’s the same with those kobe take-down models, they look like they would be great for outdoor play, but the huge logos are horrible

  6. Does anyone know when these will drop? Gotta save money so I can pick up these and the 13 hyperdunks.
