Nike Zoom Soldier VII NIKEiD – Available Now

The Nike Zoom Soldier VII has landed on NIKEiD leaving you with a multitude of possibilities but possibly the best part… the XDR option.

If you hoop outdoors, this shoe literally has it all. The only thing I felt it lacked was a durable outsole and now that is a non-issue with the XDR option available.

This is my iD colorway… no real inspiration… I just like the mint looking upper and it looked cool with black and pink. Sort of has a South Beach vibe to it but a bit softer. You can create your own for $160 – and awesome price for an iD if you ask me – so head over to NIKEiD and see what you can come up with.

    1. I had my KD V’s ID’d with an XDR sole. If you wear them outside for some time and then bring them to an indoor court, you will slip. However, there is not a great amount of slippage just a little. Lateral movements seem to be fine, but you’re not really covered laterally. Hope this helps!

      1. That would make sense because the rubber isn’t as soft so the sole wouldn’t grip as much on hardwood floor along with attracting debris from playing outside.

        1. The pattern on the KD V is the same from front to back, left to right. Medial and lateral movements are the same and would receive the same coverage. Its typical for traction to stick less when it goes from indoors to outdoors etc. This is why most tend to have an indoor shoe and an outdoor shoe.

          1. This might be a good place to ask this. Nightwing can you do a review on Nike Zoom Hyperfranchise XD? There has been one outdoor specific shoe(K1X Anti-Gravity) that you have reviewed since I’ve been a subscriber. I wanted to know about the HF for my outdoor selection. There aren’t any detailed reviews on the net on these.
