Civilist skateshop of Berlin has collaborated with Nike SB on two Stefan Janoski models to represent the skateboarding scene that lies along the River Spree. Running through Berlin, the River Spree connects local skate spots that inspire skater’s flow during their sessions. Civilist and Nike carry the spirit of the river with water repellent materials and aesthetic features.
The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Canvas Spree uses a ‘waveprint’ graphic in black on the upper, while the tongue and sole use an ‘oiled color’ design. For the Nike SB Jansoki Max Spree, a double-layer fabric dubbed ‘WaveKnit’ mimics water reflectivity for a very interesting look. Overall, both models have a perfect balance of story and functionality that will keep you flowing during your session and looking fresh off-board.
The Nike SB Civilist Collection is set for a July 11 release date at Nike.com for $90-$120, along side limited edition apparel.
