Nike LeBron XI – Up Close & Personal

Nike LeBron XI - Up Close & Personal 8

The LeBron XI will be the shoe to go head-to-head with the Air Jordan XX8… trust me… I feel it.

Only one attribute will decide their fate as the Shoe of the Year and I believe that will come down to mobility. If the LeBron XI can remain mobile – for any player – then they will be the best shoe… period. I mean, we have Fuse, Armorposite (thinner & lighter that Foamposite), Dynamic Flywire, Lunarlon & full length Zoom Air… only thing they lack is Carbon Fiber… but you gotta save something for the Elite.

Do I feel these will be mobile enough for all players? Based on my previous experiences with modular cushion setups, yes.

Lunarlon + Zoom? DAMN!!! It SHOULD BE exxtremely soft and responsive. Too bad I ain’t got any money to cop these beasts. :(

My jaw just fell and hit my damn keyboard. WTH? This will be a performance beast. Even at my smaller size, I love the Lebron X so I can only imagine how much I’m gonna love these. Next concern will be the pricetag but honestly, I’ll just skip a few other releases for these in the right colorway. The wife is not gonna be pleased with Nike for this one.

Logic: There has to be a reason why they made it modular. There must an additional midsole setup (Hopefully MAX Zoom). I could be wrong, but my hypothesis makes sense. If there still isn’t any max zoom, I dont care, this shoe still looks legit from a performance standpoint.

With all of this amount of tech thrown into one incredible looking performance shoe, the second the price for it comes out, people will be so turned off. It’ll cost more than the X which was already too steep for most. It’s a shame, but damn this shoe got me hyped.

Wow. I’m guessing when the Elite version comes they’ll replace all the armorposite with carbon fiber. Why do I get the feeling those shoes will cost well near $400. Here’s hoping they’re as good as they look. Can’t wait for the performance review Nightwing.

Finally shoes playmaker. Beed mine in black and red. Just wish the insole in full is not made with Lunarlon as nike Hyperdunk 2012 and kobe 8.No and most important will be the Nike + because it specifically because I bought the iPhone

i love lunarlon more than pretty much any cushion ever made. i also love foamposite more than any upper material ever crafted. real excited about this one, though i really hope it costs less than the lebron x elites.

am i the only one pissed at xi for no zoom max??

it makes x much more unique and seriously lunar+zoom is okay but feels like half-assing it. i wanted decouple zoom max (which doesnt even exist)

Well I think it would be a shame if Nike kept Zoom Max exclusive to Lebron shoes, without counting the Air Max Hyperflight since they were more of a casual model.

yea i agree. x’s are now only platform to enjoy max zoom.

xi looks sick tho, bet they play more like soldier’s at 3times price.

its a lot of tech into one shoe. if it all works together they will be amazing. if not, they will feel clunky and not move well w/ your foot. these look awesome but have the potential of being over-engineered. many times simplicity is more functional

    looks…ok

    skeptic on the lockdwn.

    traction patt…kobe 8 or better

price f(foams usually cost more, no max air should lower cost and weight)

Overall, w/o a nike+ option I see $180 pricing. Anything north of that?????

    Ball out.

Performance BEAST, but why must it be so ugly! Hopefully I’ll warm up to these like every LeBron ever. I’ll probably get em anyway of they get a killer colorway.

I’m skill mindblown about lunarlon and full zoom… bloody hell…

@nightwing2303 so these and the Jordan XX8s are n the running for shoe of the year. Was wondering if the Kobe 8s are a favorite to wear more casually considering you have a nice collection of them lol.
