Nike Kobe X ‘Silk’

The colorways for Kobe Bryant’s tenth signature sneaker have slowly rolled out, including this new version – the Nike Kobe X ‘Silk’.

The sneaker features an orange upper, with maroon accents on the tongue, laces, and back tab. Gold is prevalent on the branding in the swoosh and the Kobe Bryant signature on the tongue.

In terms of tech specs, the shoe features a mesh upper with a visible Zoom unit in the heel and Lunarlon with cuts in it for flexibility. Check out the performance review HERE.

The Nike Kobe X ‘Silk’ will release on March 21st, 2015 for $180. Let us know how this colorway compares to the others released thus far.

  1. Saying it has a mesh upper is far beyond misleading. I tried them on in store and i’d consider it basically just fuse. After reading several reviews and seeing them in person, it’s easy to see the mesh is pointless.

    1. Indeed this is not a mesh upper but Fuse.
I got the blackout CW which looks nice, but the awkward flex NW was telling us about when wearing the shoe, is damn annoying…
This CW is looking good too but the KobeX is not as good as Kobes 8&9 to me.

  2. i saw someone wearing the blue ones at a mall last weekend. don’t remember what nickname the shoe colorway had but it had this weird look on the toe area where it flexes–like it was it was made of material so stiff it didn’t just crease, it developed folds that stayed up. it actually looked like a fake shoe. i wanted to get this shoe in the blackout colorway, but with all the negative reviews, i think i’ll save my money for something better.

  3. sorry for the double post… i noticed i had a typo… :p
