With the Olympics soon coming to Rio, it’s only right that brands respectfully color coordinate with flag colors. In our case, it’s the “USA” colorway of the Nike Kobe Venomenon 5.
If you haven’t already done so make sure you check out the performance review by Nightwing here. In the meantime, let’s take a glimpse at the kicks.
Nike took an interesting approach with coordinating the colors along the Venomenon model. The upper has a nice white mesh with red accents at the Swoosh and the Sheath logo on the tongue. Visible is also hints of black (or at least a really dark navy) on the laces, tongue, Flywire, and the neoprene padding inner lining. What stands out is the outsole, with its translucent blue tint, that gives us a look at already visible bottom-loaded Nike Air Zoom bags at the forefoot and the heel.
If you wanted a grab a pair the Nike Kobe Venomenon 5 ‘USA’ will be available at all Nike retailers on July 7, priced at $120. Did you already grab a pair recently? How did you like them? What do you think about the colorway? Let us know in the comment section.
I owned a pair of venomenon 5 and it’s quite comfortable unless I played for +2 hours
Has there been any word on a venomenon 6
Anyone got a pair yet? is it available yet on sale?
