Love the actual review part of the video which starts at about 2:25. Very clear, to the point, and informative. However I was getting bored watching him dribble and shoot for the first couple of minutes. It would’ve been better if the review was presented first before he showcases his skills, that way the audience will get what they are looking for (a shoe review as suggested by the title) right off the hop.

Exactly, I cut straight to the info. Only so many ways you can start a intro.

Nightwing, when will you post your own performance review on the KB 9?

When he can get a pair. They’re way too limited.

Unless you are willing to pay 500 plus you will never be able get a pair….

I got two pairs for regular price. The original colorway and the All star colorway.

Who is that in the video? That is the same Y I play ball at!!

      That is Mr. Foamer Simpson

Foamer made a very good point about the Kobe XI elite feeling like a high top that plays like a low lop. I have been thinking for the past week that these feel like a more contained Kobe 8. The cushion is adequate for someone my size(160lbs), but I mentioned on Foamer’s video that the Lebron XI drop in soles can fit inside the Kobe XI elite. Most people that get(want) these likely have some Lebron XIs by now.

I remember from a while ago u said u had orthotic inserts. Did u use them? Or did the lunarlon mold to your folt

That was someone else. I do recall suggesting to that person about attempting to see if they would fit inside. I don’t believe that I’ve hooped in any of my Lunarlon shoes long enough to where they’ve molded to my foot. My rotation is ridiculously high.

Maybe my first pair of Kobe 8 Nike IDs now that I think about them.

If I can get my hands on a pair of these, I’m definitely gonna try my LeBron 11 insoles on em. That sounds potentially amazing!!

You know what? I just know that it’s possible, but I haven’t actually hooped like that because I prefer the original. Think I’ll give it a run tomorrow.

I put my Lebron insoles when my kobe 8’s when I want a more responsive feel but at a lighter weight. they work well for me

    what socks is foamer wearing?

  • February 19, 2014 at 2:04 pm harlsom

Pretty disappointing they have the same cushion as kobe 8.
Took out my lunarlon insert after a few months of wear 2-3x per week and there isn’t even 1mm of cushion left under the ball of my toe.
Unless they’ve got a more durable type of lunarlon now???
