Nike Introduces the Soldier 10 FlyEase

The Nike FlyEase program continues with the Soldier 10.

Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s Senior Director of Athlete Innovation, and his team worked alongside athletes of all abilities to improve upon the Flyease concept in order to make the new Soldier 10 Flyease one of the easiest shoes to get into that Nike has ever made.

Visually, the shoes don’t look like they’ve been altered — which is exactly the point; there is no reason to draw attention to something that doesn’t require it. These youth sized sneakers have been modified in a way that allows for easy access so all athletes can take their own shoes on/off.

In the video above, LeBron James invited patients from Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation to the Cleveland Cavaliers practice facility in order to celebrate the launch of the new Soldier 10 FlyEase. James spent time personally connecting with the kids while showing the advantages of the FlyEase in his latest shoe.

The LeBron Soldier 10 FlyEase arrives in both adult and young athlete (Black/Blue/White colorways) sizes on March 20 on Meanwhile, adult sizes in the Platinum colorway will be available in the coming weeks from

  1. I’ve bought every single Flyease Soldier because I really like the concept, but I just don’t see the point of making a Flyease Soldier 10… They don’t have any laces anyways.

  2. Can these flyease ‘Brons be used for everyday intense hooping?

Honestly the these looks 10x more functional than the regular model. The overlay on the forefoot looks like it’s definitely provide a more comfortable 1to1 fit.. even for wide footers like myself.
