The Nike Hypershift has been out for some time and can be seen on the feet of NBA stars like Devin Booker, DeMarcus Cousins, and Paul George. However, this time we get a glimpse at a new PE for the Boston Celtics very own Isaiah Thomas.
The kid from Tacoma, Washington, has come a long way from being the last pick of the 2011 NBA Draft for the Sacramento Kings to his rise as an NBA All-Star for the Boston Celtics. Isaiah Thomas doesn’t seem like he’s stopping anytime soon. With his rise to stardom, Nike has given Isaiah with his own Nike Hypershift PE.
Swoosh has done a superb job on its “Come out of Nowhere” campaign to show how the underdogs, Isaiah being one of them, rise to the top with hard work and dedication. (For a performance review of the Nike Hypershift, WearTesters captain Nightwing2303 has it here). The shoe features a hint of green (to match the Celtics uniform color) along the heel, Swoosh, and Flywire lacing cables with some speckled spots to go along with the grey mesh upper. The outsole itself is translucent and showcases the large Zoom Air cushion that is placed beneath the forefoot. The tongue features the initials “IT” for Isaiah Thomas.
If you are interested in these bad boys, you should definitely head over to your local House of Hoops in Foot Locker (they should be available now). However, they should appear online at Nike and other Nike retailers shortly. What do you think of the PE? Do you dig the colorway? Do you think Isaiah Thomas deserved this PE? Let us know what you think in the comments.
