Nike Hyperlive Black/ Royal

The Nike Hyperlive is about to make their widespread retail debut, and this Black/ Royal colorway is just one of many team options to choose from.

The Hyperlive will perform exactly the same as the Nike HyperChase, so if you were a fan of those then you’ll enjoy these as well. I was able to check out the Hyperlive in person and they feature the drop-in PU midsole along with a soft mesh and Fuse overlay upper. They run a bit tight so you may want to consider going up 1/2 size.

You can check out the Hyperlive in Black/ Royal below, and if you wanted the Blackout edition they’ve been available on ShoePalace.com for a while now. Nike Hyperlive Black Royal 1 Nike Hyperlive Black Royal 2 Nike Hyperlive Black Royal 3 Nike Hyperlive Black Royal 4

  1. Same tooling, same lace up, same low cut, pretty much the same materials (some version of mesh with fuse), and no flywire. These are $100 dollars, same as the hyperchase, and they actually took tech out.

  2. I can’t stand the out sole. When ever I do a version of a crossover my foot will turn to the side. When in regular basketaall shoes, I will get good traction even on the side of the shoes when my foot turns to the side. But in these hyperlive/hyperchase outsoles, the way the traction comes up on the shoe makes it very slippery when doing those crossover moves. It’s very unstable but it is bearable. Just not my preference. And the insole is very heavy so I suggest throwing in lunerlon. Nike should have just kept everything about the hyperlive, but instead throw in a lunerlon insole. They did this with the Kobe mentality, which is a budget model, so why can’t they do it with the hyperlive? Idk but there’s Nike for you.
