Nike Flyknit Racer Fireberry Approaching

Yeah you guessed it: the Swoosh is releasing yet another colorway of its popular Nike Flyknit Racer, and this one’s dubbed “Fireberry.”

Lately in this winter weather, Nike has been showing dark and cool colors in the Racers’ colorways. But as the temperature gets slightly warmer, we get to see brighter colors for a change — Fireberry, Pink Flash, and Volt.

In the past, we’ve seen Fireberry distributed among several basketball shoes. The Zoom Kobe VII’s, the LeBron X, the Lunar HyperDunk 2012, LeBron IX Lows, and Air Max Hyperposites have all flaunted the Firebery color, but rather than contrasting with this sharp electric Volt, Nike carried a dynamic blue along with the Fireberry instead. It’s interesting to see something different from those cotton candy themed shoes.

The majority of the lightweight Flyknit upper consists of the Fireberry color, with a Volt swoosh on the lateral and medial sides. Intertwined with the mesh are Volt Flywire cables that keep your foot from sliding around the footbed. All of this sits on top of a white grooved Phylon midsole for a chill ride. And don’t forget about the reflective dashes on that heel tab.

These are going to drop on March 4, 2016 for $150 at nike.com or at Nike retail stores.

So what do you guys think? Is this colorway going to be an instant sell out like the previous colorways? Let me know in the comments.
