Many of the youngins may not remember the Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT, or how wild Dennis Rodman used to be (take a look at him now, even crazier), and few may know that this 1996 gem is an Eric Avar joint. Now, according to a source that has been reliable in the past, the Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT is returning in 2017.
No, this rumored upcoming launch will not be the 2012 Air Shake Evolve. Instead, according to this source, the true Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT will return in two OG colorways — white/red and black/white. Additionally, the retro should come in April of 2017.
Of course, this isn’t official news and shouldn’t be treated as such. For all we know, this could be a purposeful Nike leak to judge whether or not the market wants this shoe to return. Dennis was a great basketball player, a major difference maker for any team trying to win the chip…when he was mentally healthy. His shoes for Converse were much better shoes than those he wore with Nike.

Nah’, these weren’t “pretty” enough for me. lol Zoom Flight 96′, Jordan XI, and the Chuck Taylor 2000 were being worn around this time.
Olympic 96 materials are pretty decent. Not sure what zoom is in them though- only saw on shelf.
If they’re meant for street courts then hell yeah I’m in! So few (if any!) are created purposefully for the streets these days.

Absolutely!!!!! Got my fingers crossed that Nike will in fact retro these next year. I had the black/silver Shake N’destrukts as a kid and was one of my top favorite sneakers ever. I got the Shake Evolves too and those was done well but still not about to miss out on the OG’s if they’re coming!
