Pop the cork! Here we have a first look at the Nike Air Max 90 in a “Cork” colorway.
Cork uppers have found their way onto sneakers in recent history and the trend has been applied to the classic Nike Air Max 90. Infrared and black hits add some color to this colorway and the white midsole, laces and inner lining keep this colorway looking clean. The main attraction is the cork upper, it gives the Air Max 90 more variety and a new look. Overall the Air Max 90 “Cork” should please those who are fans of the “Cork” upper craze and the Air Max 90. Personally I’m not sold on “Cork” uppers, i think hits of cork would work better than full uppers made up of cork, but that might be why i am typing this article and not designing shoes for a major sneaker company. Nonetheless i respect Nike for branching off and trying to do new things on sneakers, it adds to the variety and creativity of the sneaker world.
