Nike Air Foamposite One ‘TianJin’ Sample

The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘TianJin’ sample that could have been gets some shine for the Chinese New Year.

The unreleased sample version of the TianJin Foamposite is even more exquisite than the pair that saw an actual release. Everything from the materials used to the graphics applied gives off a premium vibe that would have likely done well had made it to retail. The laces showcase intricate detail and the shoe is a bit darker overall, adding mystique and accentuating the already opulent motifs.

Get a detailed look at what could have been below and be sure to leave your thoughts on the kicks in the comments section.

  1. I’m not so hot on graphics + Foams, but there’s so much detail in this one, I can’t help but find it so interesting. More of a display piece than anything, though.

  2. I’m white.
    My gf is Chinese.

These would not fly for me or her.
    1. They are busy and ugly
    2. There is a weird cultural appropriation thing going on.

In this case some kid at the factory made a shoe celebrating Chinese culture for very little wages so that a group of white dudes in Oregon could sell that limited culture back to China for great profits.

Yeah that’s all a bit much for me.
And people wonder why I love simple classic colorways.
I don’t need and insulting story for my feet

  3. Idk if I’m the only person who realized something about these but these are the black Gucci foams with a girl on the side and a couple added colors. This is what they did with the blue tint foams which where left over All Star foams with blue added to the top of the chrome
