Much like Asics with their new EVO line and adidas with their classics the Stan Smith and Superstar 80, New Balance is updating their classic silhouettes. Few can debate the fact that the New Balance 574 is iconic. Since 1988, the 574 has been a staple for middle aged men and in the past ten years, sneakerheads.
Updating the silhouette for 2015 was necessary. Now, the brand new MFL574 features a seamless upper with a much sleeker, elegant look. It also gets New Balance’s Fresh Foam, a foam cushion from their performance line that I have only heard good things about.
Debuting in three heritage colorways, the New Balance MFL574 will be landing at select retailers in August. Unfortunately there isn’t a more concrete date but when one arrives we’ll keep you updated. Thoughts on the refreshed New Balance 574? Share them below.
