We first reported on the knit kicks Native Shoes had coming way back in September of 2016. Now, the Native’s latest knit footwear has arrived.
Every brand that wants to stay current is manufacturing with knits now. Native Shoe’s Liteknit models, the Mercury and Rover, embody the brand’s #keepitlight mantra. Each upper is a single 3D knit already shaped and molded into a whole piece. Then, it is sewn to an EVA midsole and outsole. Both the Mercury Liteknit and Rover Liteknit utilize a Superfoam perforated insole atop a lightweight EVA outsole.
Of course, the latest silhouettes from Native are completely beast-free, making them modern, vegan knit sneakers. Knit uppers allow for unique designs and textures, and Native Shoes seems to have taken advantage of that with the builds it has created.
The Mercury Liteknit is a lowtop available in six colorways priced at $90 while the Rover Liteknit is a midtop available in four colorways and priced at $95. To pick up the latest silhouettes from Native Shoes, click here.
