The adidas D Lillard 2 is one of the top performance shoes so far this year (2016), and this colorway may be the best one yet.
This version pays homage to the old PDX carpet, but that’s not what makes it so great. Instead, the material change along the upper is very similar to adidas’ PrimeKnit — but without the Crazy Light Boost 2015 tooling that we find to be inferior to the original D Lillard 2 tooling.
There is no official release date for the D Lillard 2 ‘PDX Carpet’ but stay tuned for updates as they should be releasing in the coming months.

in a recent review, you said that the D Rose 6 Primeknit was the best shoe you have ever played in. Would these top even the D Rose’s? Just curious.
I explained why in that same review. These don’t offer me what I need, even though I think they’re better than most shoes available right now. You’ve got to pay attention to the information given. It’s very important otherwise you will be lost with misinterpreted information.

Hahaha ! personally, I don’t believe he’s a dick when he’s answering questions. I think he is more tolerant despite some of the comments or questions are plainly idiotic, he still makes an effort to accommodate them eventhough they aren’t worth the time.
also, in this manner of communication, it is easy to just get lost in translation. if this issue concerns about a particular article, I think I might have read it and could have ruff some feathers the wrong way. it could be possible that NW reacted like a dick because someone is being an ass.

Does it use the same rubber compound as the solid outsole? Like is it still continental rubber? Or does that not affect the grip?
I doubt it would affect the grip, but maybe just the longevity of the rubber since continental is more durable. Not a huge deal IMO.

Is the upgrade to Primeknit (assuming this is true Primeknit or even in comparison to the version on the the Static colorway) better or worth it compared to the Jacquard option, in terms of performance and durability?
i don’t think it would make enough of a difference for you to need to pay more money for a primeknit pair, the jacquard material is already really soft, fits perfectly, gives you freedom of movement without sacrificing support, etcetera, the point of having these kinds of materials is so you forget about what you have on your feet and just play the game….
so if you see a jacquard pair for cheap, then get those, if you wanna pay more for a primeknit pair because they look better or you like the colorway, then do that, just know that changing the upper material to primeknit doesn’t make it a vastly better shoe, just maybe a better looking one

man, the lillards are selling so badly in hong kong that they don’t even bother to bring colorways in…the home and away colors are still sitting on the shelves as prices keep dropping, to be fair the rose 6 doesn’t get much love either
such a shame, it’s a really solid shoe (wouldn’t say it’s among the best, but it’s good in every respect), though i do think that the 1 looked WAY better
how much are they selling them in HK? do they have the STATIC version? I’m having difficulty getting that C/W. also, not surprised the Lillards are not selling well there since Dame isn’t that popular for them and HK is Nike Country.
